Therefore, I do hope this book will guide those who are planning to supervise teaching assistants in higher education institutions around the world. Given the potential to improve the tools and ways used to assist learning, findings and discussions in this book offer us the mentors and planners relevant insights for future directions. Additionally, I wish this work to be interesting to those who undertake a teaching assistant position in higher education institutions, while pursuing a research degree. Time spent on ‘learning to teach’ while also working on classroom communication is crucial; and, becoming one of the mediators for student experience on campus has long-lasting effects on learners.
