Thrace the mysterious, an almost unknown region, is a natural land bridge traversed by countless migrations as well as warlike groups: Persians, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, Huns, Byzantines, Crusaders, Ottomans and lastly, Bulgarian Turks. Thrace is the setting for the historic episodes and the author's recollections in this, her ninth published book.
